What's this all about?

In 2013, I started a meetup in NYC in order to meet other vegans of color. Transitioning into a completely plant based lifestyle affected my community, my friendships, and family. I wanted to create a space where I could connect with others who were having a similar experience. To my surprise I found HUNDREDS of folks in NYC alone! Many meetup members are vegan, and many are curious about how to transition. Fast forward to today, we now have over 4,500 members in the NY area alone. We eat, travel, play, party, dance, and cook together. This experience has been so amazing that I grew an extreme passion to meet other folks of color who live plant based lives in different cities all over globe. The Black Theory offers the opportunity to connect folks of color who are vegan, vegan curious, plant-based, travel junkies, and foodies.

I wish I could be vegan, but I just can't give up...

I have yet to meet a vegan who thought that they would ever become vegan. Here at The Black Theory it's almost seamless. Combine good food, with good people, good music, and a bom itenerary and you're not even thinking about the ins and outs of veganism.

What does  The Black Theory mean anyway?

Sounds cool to me! I know this isn't sufficient for most of you, so for all my folks who like to dig deep, sign up for our news letter  to find out more.
